Hey there everyone.

I'm curious, what's everyone wearing to the reunion? Is it suit&tie, business casual, casual, remember to wear pants :)

(alright I had to intergect, my Husband, Jason is a smartass, but we would like to know what attire to wear).

Anyway, just curious and wondering what everyone else's thoughts might be.

Always,
Jason Butler

Hello everyone,

Checked into the Holiday Inn today. The place is pretty sweet and the view is awesome. Our balcony overlooks water but I don't believe anyone will try diving off it. If you were there in the day, you know :)

Always,
Jason

From Sam Cummins:
How about this for next reunion. I think others are thinking of the same thing. Had a great time at the last reunion. Ya'll did a great job. A few suggestions for the next reunion, weather it be in 3 years, 5 years or 10. Make it a weekend reunion. This will give the classmates time to mingle a little longer and do their own thing in between the events . The last one was too short and a few people came from a far on plane, train, and automobiles to get here. Do a Friday cocktail party with hors d'oeuvres for people to relax and mingle, 5-8pm. Saturday the big, bar, dinner, and dancing, 6-10pm. Sunday a buffet brunch 11am -1pm... and everyone can go home on their marry way. just a suggestion. :-)

I know, I know, I didn't come....but I still have a suggestion :) I really liked Sam's suggestions. Another idea for a future reunion would maybe even do a family picnic on Sunday. It looks like many of us have children and it would be nice to do a cookout/picnic at a local park with our families. Having multiple events would allow people to attend at least one (if not all) of the events.

Like Lisa, I didn't make it either but I also have a suggestion. I like her idea about bringing our families to a park and thought it would be a good thing to do at the 5 year mark. A sort of "mini reunion" if you will. We can skip the dj and fancy foods(potluck anyone?) to keep the price down and maybe that would make it more accessible to a lot more people. Just a thought. And even though I didn't go, I have enjoyed seeing everyones' pictures on facebook and here. It looks like everyone had a great time!
Hoping to make it next time!

From Steve Shifflett:

Hello everyone looks like I missed a good time. As some of you already know I could not make the reunion due to an accident on the fire ground. I was flown to Shock Trauma has not been fun. I am doing better now but still out of work hoping to get released in the month or so. I would like to have a another get together with those of you who are living local if you are up for it. I was thinking maybe dinner and drinks. Let me know if you would like to that. 301-399-5752 talk to you soon!!
